Church Administrator:  

General Description:

This is a part-time office position for approximately 20 hours/week, from Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm. 
The Church Administrator position covers three main areas of responsibility: management and administration of a church office, coordination of communication within and outside of the congregation, and being an administrative assistant to the pastor and other church staff.



  1. Must be a practicing Christian, maintaining and respecting confidential matters in the church.
  2. College graduate or 2 years work-related administrative experience and have excellent command of English composition and punctuation.
  3. Must be able to lift 50lbs of weight (such as a paper box) safely.
  4. Must be screened and certified in accordance with the church’s Child/Youth Protection Policy.
  5. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to work in an intuitive work environment. Must be a detail-oriented person who has good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  6. Must be proficient in Windows 7&10, Microsoft Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as Google Calendar. Our church uses a WordPress-based website platform, and this person would be our webmaster, so computer skills are a necessary part of this position.  PowerChurch experience and proficiency a plus, but not necessary.
