Dear St. Paul’s Family,

During the last several weeks we have been discussing our “Let Your Light Shine” mission and Vision work for the future of St. Paul’s.  We’ve heard God’s wisdom for our local church thanks to your involvement and input, and as we now move to fund that ministry effort, we rely on the same input and involvement.  Our “Let Your Light Shine” Financial Awareness Campaign will have two parts: financial commitments, which is covered in this letter, and service commitments, which will be sent out the week following October 17th.   As we each establish our part in our missional goals for the year 2022, let’s be reminded of our membership vows, where we promise to support St. Paul’s through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.  That’s what makes us who we are!

Follow the link below to find our 2022 Estimate of Giving Form that includes financial gifts.  Please pray for God’s wisdom and direction before you begin, as this should always be a prayer-filled process.  In addition to the link, you should also be receiving a paper Estimate of Giving form in the mail.  If you would rather not complete the linked form electronically, you can also return an estimate of giving form in person, by mail, or you can scan and email a completed form to the church office at info@spocala.org.  Please only fill out one Estimate of Giving form per household. The Estimate of Giving Forms, however they arrive, will be tallied and used to determine what portion of our stated missional goals can be accomplished in 2022 and which, if any, missional goals may need to be postponed or completed differently.  Your generosity determines how St. Paul’s can impact our local community and world.

Please contact the church office if you have any questions about any of these forms that we are sending, or about our Financial Awareness Campaign.  Our goal is to give the congregation a final report on the “Let Your Light Shine” Financial Awareness Campaign on Sunday, November 7th, so please turn in your Estimate of Giving forms by November 3rd so they can be added to the tally. Due to concerns in the ongoing pandemic, there will not be a time in the worship service to bring them to the altar.  Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration and participation as a sustaining member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church!
